Hi I got the cystoscope done,it was to check for bladder obstructions or anything else that might have been causing my incontinence,they used a rigid cystoscope which gives them the option to take a biopsy at the same time if required,it was done under general anaesthetic so it was painless,just slightly stinging passing water for the first time after it and you tend to pass a bit of blood too but this is normal after the procedure,don't worry if your getting it done its a common procedure I hope this is of some help to you let us know how you get on.
