Hi I got the scan

Hello there just to let you know that I got an ultrasound scan done on my kidneys and bladder there was nothing much to it other than fasting for a while and a load of gel on your tummy I should get the results in a few days I got the blood test done too that was to check out the prostate I hope the information encourages someone else to go and get themselves sorted please let me know if you do or if you would like to chat.

Hi there I got theresults of the ultrasound scan there was nothing out of the ordinary on it I have to go back to the doctor again and he will probably send me to a urologist I don't know what he can find out that the scan and blood tests did not at least the prostate checked out ok anyone know what to expect at the urologist visit any info would be great.

Being that I have different parts than you, I don't know exactly what they will do...although it's probably somewhat similair. But when I visited my urologist, they first made me void my bladder. Then, they did an ultrasound to check to see if I had voided the majority of the urine to make sure that I was able to have a healthy void/urination. Next, they inserted a camera into my urethra to check there was no blockage, growth and that everything was doing okay. All that was discovered on my visit was that I have a very small bladder, lucky me.The camera didn't hurt but felt very uncomfortable.

Thanks for the info Alyssa sounds .......interesting enjoy your trip don't get injured let's know when your back,do you mind if I ask what kind of protection do you use during the day/night I use a combination of pull up pants and a pad it's just a bit difficult to have to change pants at times depending on where you are.
