How did you go about telling loved ones that you are incontinent? What were their reactions?

I started having accidents and would hide them like a child.I then set my wife down and told her what was going on she is totally supportive.

It's wonderful when your spouse is supportive. I suffered stress incontinence after child birth and my husband is so understanding and supportive. It really makes all the difference.

I agree that a supportive spouse is immensely important.
If there is love and communication there is no problem that cannot be overcome.
Before I was married I talked about my incontinence with my girlfriend before we were even engaged.
I wanted to give her the opportunity to decide for herself if she wanted to continue the relationship.
Bless her heart she said the incontinence didn't matter.
Our 36th anniversary is in 2 weeks.
